Evelyn Ferwalt (she/her) is an incoming MS/PhD track candidate in the lab. She received her B.S. from the University of Rochester, where she did photonics research in the lab of Professor Jaime Cardenas. She also did a summer internship at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Group 89: Quantum Information and Integrated Nanosystems, where she lead a team to winning first place in an intern project pitch competition called I³C. Evelyn is especially interested in the intersection of optical and electrical systems engineering.
